Heh, we should use this more often :/ if u guys want i could add a chat feature, similar to KoM chat. Kinda useless to have a blog spot if we dont use it XD. I suggest we begin posting apps here and have general discusions on the KoM. Also admins should use the blogger to discuss apps and probs :/

Minecraft 1.3

We are currently working on the new spawn for our server! After Minecraft 1.3 comes out, SurvivalWorld will reset and you will lose all your items. We are doing this so the new world can generate new structures.

Binary

I was bored so I decided to write up an explanation of binary.

We've all seen the famous 1's and 0's that appear in movies like the matrix. But how does binary work?

Binary is very simple once you understand it. The whole system is based off of powers of 2. Here is an example:
1001 = 9
Every 1 in binary represents 2^x. Here is a small chart; the numbers start at 0.
Binary Digits(Bits)  = 0110
                         X  = 3210
For ever 1 you see, you would take 2^ of the x value under it. So with 1001, you would take:
1001
3210
2^3
2^0
Then you add them together.
2^3 = 8
2^0 = 1
8 + 1 = 9
Therefore, 1001 = 9.
